Introduction

Welcome to Comfy with ComfyUI.

This site is not just for sharing workflows. It is built to help people understand what generative AI can do, and how to operate ComfyUI itself.

Templates can get you started quickly, but if you want to extend things your own way, you still need the fundamentals.

I also hope this can be a useful place for experienced users to track how ComfyUI is evolving.

Sections

Switch the section tabs in the top-left to browse articles by theme. Here is a quick overview of the main sections:

🧭 Begin With ComfyUI

Covers ComfyUI setup and basic operations.

The UI changes frequently these days. I want to keep it updated, but changes happen so often that I usually wait for a bit of stability.

🖼️ Data / Image Utilities

Focuses on preparing data and images for generation. Includes editing/conversion workflows and ways to process many images at once.

🔼 AI Capabilities

Many beginners do not yet know what kinds of AI exist. This section is designed so you can start from "what you want to do" and find "which AI can do it."

It also explains the basic mechanism of image generation AI.

🗺️ Basic Workflows

Basic workflow guides. They are close to ComfyUI templates, but with a more minimal and easy-to-read structure.

☹️ FAQ / Troubleshooting

Organizes common questions like "Why 512px?" and "Why seed 1234 and 1235 are totally different."

It also collects frequent ComfyUI errors and troubleshooting patterns.

Workflow Copy Button

This site provides workflow JSON for almost every workflow article.

Copy the workflow JSON text, then press Ctrl + V on the ComfyUI canvas. The workflow will be pasted directly.

Test workflow:

Stable_Diffusion_1.5.json

Please make use of it.

How to Face Generative AI

Generative AI opens new possibilities, but it still cannot do many things.

For example, maintaining strong multi-character consistency is still very hard. Creating a solid 1-minute video is also not there yet.

When AI fails to do what you want, there is often no hidden trick. In many cases, the technology just has not reached that point yet.

Take your time and enjoy this still-immature phase of AI.
